Membership Process
Character Co-op has a process for families to become members to ensure everyone involved receives the best fit for their needs.
Step One
Fill out the Next Steps form. We want to know more about your family and your family's needs.
Step Two
Check us out! We request that each family visit Character on a co-op day to allow everyone to get a feel for each other.
Step Three
Get to know us better! Read over the statement of faith, teacher guidelines, family covenant, and financial agreement . If you agree with all of them, please sign and submit.
Step Four
Take the next step! Once you know what we're about and have decided to pursue a membership, fill out the application.
Step Five
Once we've reviewed your application, we will set up an interview with you and the co-op board. We usually conduct interviews on Thursdays during co-op from 11am-Noon. You'll provide a non-refundable $25 deposit at this time. If you move forward in membership, this will go towards your first month's payment.
Step Six
After the board has reviewed your paperwork and considered the co-op's needs, we will contact you to invite you to be part of our co-op community. If your family has decided that Character is a good fit for your family's needs, you have the opportunity to accept our invitation and join our co-op for the following school year.
